Blaming the Malays for “cheap” void deck weddings and “high” divorce rates?

From what I understand from the Wikipedia page and this blog post, holding functions in void decks (a community hall / space below HDB flats in Singapore) is unique only to Singapore and Singaporeans. And void decks are not just used for weddings, but for other functions as well and is not limited for the Malay community. Amy Cheong must be aware of these facts but she blurted out this remark anyway. Why? Because she’s a fucking Singaporean, that’s why.

For someone who got her degree in Australia, she sure ain’t very bright.
