So it looks like crime isn’t exactly an alien thing in Singapoorah after all:

A female nursing student was found slashed and stabbed at an HDB block in Jurong West on Friday morning.

The Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF) received a call about the incident at 8:43am and saw the victim at the void deck of Block 415 Jurong West Street 42 when they arrived. Paramedics treated her before conveying her to the National University Hospital (NUH).

An SCDF spokesman said that the victim was still conscious when she was found, and she had told one of the officers that she is a “nursing student from one of the polytechnics”.

The spokesman added that the victim had wounds on her neck, shoulder area, as well as her left hand.

The police also received a call at about 8:40am on Friday requesting for assistance at the same location. Upon arrival, police found a woman in her 20s injured and they subsequently arrested a man in his 30s in connection with the case.

Police investigations are still ongoing.
